Boiler repair in the United States is governed by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors and the ASME under the classification called R Stamp Welding. The “R” (Repair) Symbol Stamp certifies that repairs made on ASME Code boilers or pressure vessels are in accordance with the National Board Inspection Code (NIBC) and municipal regulations.
American Welding Services, Inc. has received the Certificate of Authorization from the National Board to use the “R” Symbol Stamp. This accreditation confirms that American Welding Services, Inc. has developed and maintains a strict quality control system for Code Repairs and that it demonstrates its ability to perform up to the National Boards high standards on an ongoing basis.
